The official notification for the 2026 session of the Bihar B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET) has been announced. This entrance test is for students who want to join the 2-year B.Ed course or the Shiksha Shastri programme in various Bihar universities.

•The name of the post is the Bihar 2 Year B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test for the year 2026.

•Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is the main organization in charge of this exam.

•This test is meant for admission into teacher training colleges across the state of Bihar.

•Candidates can start filling out their forms from 27 April 2026.

•The final date to submit the application without any late charge is 18 May 2026.

•The fee payment must also be completed by 18 May 2026.

•If you miss the deadline, you can still register with a late fee until 21 May 2026.

•If you make a mistake in your form, you can fix it on 22 and 23 May 2026.

•The hall ticket or admit card will be given out on 01 June 2026.

•The computer-based test or written exam will happen on 07 June 2026.

•The results of the test are expected to be out by 19 June 2026.

•General category applicants have to pay a fee of 1000 rupees.

•Candidates belonging to EBC, BC, or EWS categories need to pay 750 rupees.

•All women candidates, regardless of their main category, have a fee of 750 rupees.

•Students from the SC and ST categories must pay 500 rupees.

•You can pay these fees using a debit card, credit card, or through internet banking.

•To apply for the regular 2-year B.Ed or Shiksha Shastri, you need a graduation degree.

•General graduates must have scored at least 50% marks in their degree.

•Students with a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology need a higher score of 55%.

•The degree must be from a university that is officially recognized in India.

•Candidates should check the official information booklet for exact age requirements.

•Usually, there is no strict upper age limit for teaching entrance exams, but university rules apply.

•The first step is a written entrance examination.

•Candidates who pass the exam will be placed on a merit list.

•Based on your rank, you will be called for a counselling process to pick a college.
